Bold Security Group (UK) Ltd. Has taken time this week to celebrate Mental Health Awareness alongside the rest of the UK during Mental Health Awareness Week from the Mental Health Foundations.
This year’s theme, nature, is extremely fitting as we slowly ease away from lockdown in which nature was the publics only form of escape. Green spaces provided a lifeline to those who needed an reprieve from the reality of working from home, national lockdowns, and Covid-19.
Research has shown that nature is a powerful tool in the war against mental health, reducing feelings of social isolation, and preventing distress.
As part of our celebrations, a number of our team members have also enrolled on Mental Health First Aid courses to allow them to become a better ally and to be better equipped to help friends, family and colleagues during times of emergency as well as learning how to support themselves more effectively.
